Speaking from experience. A heart attack and triple bypass in Nov. You all want to do whatever you can to prevent it. Unfortunately as my surgeon told me you can't necessarily overcome genetics but as I did with my exercise program and conditioning you can minimize the damage and speed up the recovery.

    Reduse stress

The new book by James Marcum M.D. of the Chattanooga Heart
Institute is "The Ultimate Prescription." Mine came by way of my Nook Book
from Barnes and Noble for 10$'s. Get it, read it and do it. I'm 74 this
year and doing it. May not live a day longer, but love every ride.

    Take a look:

    Overview

Many of the diseases sending us to doctors' offices, surgical suites, and early graves are preventable-and we don't need to be overmedicated to cure them. Using scientific evidence and commonsense explanations, The Ultimate Prescription strips back the misinformation about what makes us sick. It presents real-world stories of lives that have been changed, not by some powerful drug or impossibly expensive procedure, but by lifestyle choices made at home, at work, and at the grocery store.
You won't want to miss out on Dr. Marcum's explanation of the biblical plan for physical and spiritual health, prescribed by the Great Physician Himself.
If you can't remember the last time you felt really energetic
If you're tired of taking medications that don't "fix" the problem
If you're looking to beat stress and burnout the way God meant us to
Then You're Ready To Discover The True Source Of Healing For Your Mind, Body, And Spirit!

    Good news

We all have bad components in our-self. Example: My HDL is low...34 all the time that produces a ratio of 5 for me, which is not good. Therefor it is important for me to ingest no cholesterol and that keeps my total around 150.
Check up on me and see if I'm correct here.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

My brother is afraid of death and spends a lot of time thinking about his health. He is healthy but he goes to doctors often, way too often IMO.

I live and eat right, I go ride one of my Two wheelers, and think about life not death.

    Just saying:cool9:
