New Handcycling Initiative launched for Co.Meath! Meath Chronicle

Meath Local Sports Partnership (LSP) has launched a new Handcycling Initiative in County Meath!

Meath LSP purchased two handcycles through the support of the Sport Ireland Dormant Account fund.

One Handcycle is upright and suitable for children with the other recumbent handcycle suitable for adults. The handcycles are powered by the arms and will support people with a disability to be more physically active.

Meath LSP will link with key partners to ensure this initiative has a positive impact on people in Meath with a physical disability.

Meath LSP are holding a Come ‘n’ Try day for anyone interested both children and adults in testing out the new handcycles on Saturday May 20th in Claremont Stadium Navan at 12pm as part of National Bike Week 2023.
