All ability cycling sessions to be put on by Outfit Moray at Cooper Park

    All ability cycling sessions to be put on by Outfit Moray at Cooper Park Northern Scot

    Scotland - Outdoor learning and adventure charity Outfit Moray is set to run all ability cycling sessions in Elgin's Cooper Park.

    The Lossiemouth-based charity is aiming to make cycling more accessible for all, with the sessions to run on the first and third Saturdays of every month until the end of 2021.

    Outfit Moray already delivers Cycling Scotland’s Bikeability programme to schools through Moray Council and, with the help of ASN departments at local schools, has been able to identify the need for more adaptive cycling opportunities.

    The charity has, therefore, been building its fleet of bikes to specifically support young people with different cycling needs.

    With adapted bikes such as wheelchair bikes, recumbent trike, trikes, tandem and a tag-on-trike, Outfit Moray is now able to offer regular cycling opportunities for adults and young people who are unable to ride a standard bike.

    The bikes can be ridden around the many pathways in Cooper Park with family members or carers being encouraged to join in.
