Here's our latest vid, we started at Criterium Bicycles/Crit Café, which is right on the Pikes Peak Greenway Trail. About a mile up the trail is the "junction" for the Cottonwood Creek Trail, which heads "north-east" to the Cottonwood Creek Recreation Area/Park on the more eastern side of Colorado Springs, CO. It was only a 13 mile RT but it's mostly uphill grade all the way to the current end of the trail across the creek from Woodman Ave. and Austin Bluffs Rd. The trail now ends where the concrete runs out and it turns into a weedy single track dirt trail, no place for a recumbent Trike tandem!! HOT, 90F, Sunny with barely a breeze. The video is long 1:48 and a bit bouncy for some strange reason but it does show the whole trail, one of the prettier urban trails here in Co. Springs.

From what I've seen of the rally vids and other's TN. trails would put Colorado Springs and Denver trails to SHAME!! Your MILES of tree canopy is something we have VERY little of here in Southern CO. and Colorado Springs! Most of our trails are SUN baked urban trails and we still have a LONG way to go to even get our trail system, "connected"! If your a native you know all the "back streets, bike lanes" to get from one trail to the next if not, then you'd be totally confused and frustrated trying to follow a Trail Map here!! :( If it wasn't for the fact that TN. seems to have a lot of TORNADOS and FLOODING in the Spring, we'd think very seriously of moving out your way as the trails look great and I'm sure it's not as expensive to live there as Colorado Springs, which has been voted the #1 City to move to and the PRICES of Rent, housing etc. have gone so HIGH we may be "forced" to move somewhere else and sadly I'm a "NAVTIVE" :(
