At the TOP of each thread, just below the title, you will see a small Print Topic link or you can use the Thread Tools drop-down menu if you choose to…

When you click to print, a new window will open up showing a preview of the thread to be printed.

The PRINT add-on I have installed for the board, does it's best to preserve the graphics within the thread showing smilies, graphics and even photographs. Of course, depending on your operating system you may be able to print the thread to a PDF file as well.

Exporting a Thread, allows users to capture the RAW message w/o any images or graphics, but still retains any embedded links (i.e. URLs) that a member may have posted.

To Export a Thread, you just click on the Thread Tools drop-down menu and select it…

Next, you will see a raw text sort of screen containing all the thread, with the individual authors posts in chronological order…

Once you see this screen, you can then do a Select All and then Copy/Paste it into your Word Processor, an Email, etc.

NOTE: This allows members to backup some of their own (more important) threads, when/if they wish to have a copy of such for whatever purposes.
