Issues with Gmail registrations...

Oftentimes, when a new user registers with RRI using a Gmail email-address it can appear they have not received the Confirmation Email we send out immediately. This thread is to help those users out and show them just where to LOOK for the Confirmation Email.

Google's Gmail accounts, while a fine service, can be a bit confusing for some users to figure out just what ends up where, and why.

Once you are logged into your Gmail account, on your left you will see a More-dropdown Menu button...


Click on it, and you should then see a full list of ALL your email folders…


Depending on the active filters, you may find the Confirmation Email in All Mail, Spam or Trash folders.

So check inside EACH of those folders first. ​

However if the Confirmation Email is not there, then you will need to add to your Contacts.

To do this, simply click on the Gmail Icon and select Contacts...

Then in the bottom righthand corner of your screen, you will see the Add Contact Icon... ​

Click on it and you will be presented the form below...

At that point, simply type in Recumbent Riders International (or RRI, etc.) and click the Create button...

Next you will see the Edit Contact screen, so select the Email Field...



Simply type in and click on the Save button

After that, you can request for the Confirmation Email to be re-sent at the top of any forum webpage...



Then, simply look for it in the folders denoted above.
