    Found these on eBay.

My SUN EZ-3 SX has mounts on the handle bars for 2 water bottles. Regular holders would let the bottles fall out when I hit a bump. These CATCAGE can mount sideways. and the fact that the color is a good match for the bike didn't make me unhappy either.

 Yes, with 3 different mounting options (holes in the back, on the right or on the left) they're about the most versitle Water Bottle Holders out there! :jiggy9: Originally they sold for $15ea, but I've picked up them up in quantity off of eBay for less than $2ea! :cool9:

I got ripped off. $10.99 for 2 + shipping. The seller still has some if any body is interested. Come in several different colors.

I just tripped across some more of these type water bottle holders on eBay, here.

I just wanted to mention that if you have a mesh type seat on your recumbent, that these water bottle holders will mount via their SIDE. As such you can easily insert water bottle from the side of the seat, instead of from behind the seat with a standard water bottle holder.(see attached)

That looks interesting. Can you access the bottle whilst riding along or does one need to stop?

Easy access, riding or stopped. I just reach around beside the seat and grab my water bottle, whereas with a cage that faces backwards it's a bit more tricky to find the opening in order to replace a bottle into the cage. Just guessing, I'd say it's roughly about twice as hard to put a bottle back into a rear-facing cage on the backside of the seat, as it is to put a bottle back into a side facing cage.

That is about what the are now by the looks * $7.00 each for the black ones. The killer for me is the postage at $12.75 US each. Will contact the seller to see if they will do combined postage.

Just did a quick search and found a couple of alternatives. One is the Rex bottle cage which is around $10.00 AU and the other is a Wiiz by Zefal

I carry the one pictured at the top in my shop...the bottle just squeezes in and is held quite nicely.

We have a couple of the Rex side mount bottle cages on our Longbike tandem. They are back up water storage for touring. We use velcro straps around the bottles since we lost one several years ago.

I don't mean to muddy the waters any here, but just wanted to mention that ADEM has a nice way to easily mount dual water bottle holders onto M5 seats, with their Carbon Seat Bottle Cage Mount. I recently picked one up and am very pleased with it.
