Are they that great of an upgrade for the money? I am really leaning towards getting some but don't know if its worth it. I may end up lookng for a used pair but RANS has a set for $396

I think I got mine (several years ago) for $320. Even at $400, they're pretty cheap compared to a lot of wheelsets you could buy. They're not for weight weenies - you can find wheelsets that are 200-400 grams lighter - but they're durable and smooth-running.

Changed the Rocket over to the Velocity Thracians (Spartacus series) and Kojak tires in July 2010. Only 1500 miles on them so far but weight savings & performance over previous wheel/tire set is noticeable. And they look good as long as you like all-black.
