early 90s recumbent plans

    In the very late 80s or early 90s, I ordered plans for a DIY recumbent--that required no welding.
    It was advertised in the back of Pop. Science or Pop. Mechanics. I made the bike--the pieces were
    connected with epoxy and rivets. I still have it but never learned to ride it--as the direction didn't advise
    keep working at it. LOL I'm looking for a copy of the ad and maybe a copy of the plans. (I loaned
    my plans to a HS kid--and I never got them back.) Thanks.

    Thanks. That one is easy to find--from the late 60's. The plans I'm talking about never made it big time. was just a small ad in Pop. Mechanix/Pop. Science/ or Mechanix Illustrated. I think I paid $15 for the plans. Underseat steering, single aluminum beam.
