    The stratus had one of the longest continuous production runs in the recumbent world, as far as I know. Solid, well built bikes if it's what you're looking for. We have one we purchased new around 2006.

    Extra Thought: a Standard Stratus uses a 26 inch rear wheel (mountain bike size); the green one in the picture is that type. The original Stratus used a 700c road bike rear wheel. This was reintroduced late in the life cycle - my blue and white one is a 700c rear wheel. If you have a preference, keep that in mind. Also, the original T handlebar (such as on the green one) has some "tiller effect" built in, be ready for that. Later RANS went to a fully adjustable handlebar kit (see my picture) which dramatically reduced tiller effect, and made the handlebars a much more customized fit.
