Can an older P-38 without disc brakes be retrofitted with them without a frame shop welding braze ons?
I've been looking for a travel recumbent and I found an older Voyager. No frame shops in Billings and the ones in Bozeman only work on what they make.

Have you considered getting a "folding" recumbent? I have a folding two wheel "Trident Twig" in like new condition that I would sell you.

I don't mean to interrupt or preempt any discussion you and Curt might already have going...but if he isn't interested in the Twig I might be. I'm a little guy, I see the X-seam will go low enough...I would just need to talk to me about seat height. PM me if you want....

Back to original thread about P-38 mods....

I’m interested in finding out more about the TWIG. I have looked at folding bents but hadn’t come across the TWIG. Most of the folders don’t fit in a case size you can fly with, 62” ht+w+l. How about the TWIG?

I am at a design conference right now and don't have the spec on hand, however, you may be able to find out more at this link. As I said, the one I have is in like new condition and it is for sale. It is green.

I checked the link , no mention of folded size or case . Also didn’t mention weight. Do you happen to know the weight?
