I enjoy designing and 3D printing parts for my trike. The latest group of 3D printed parts were for mounting the electric assist system including a battery mount. This short video shows most of the items.

Nifty. Out of curiosity, what does a 3D printer capable of doing things like this run?

A.D., for someone new looking to purchase their first 3D printer, I highly recommend Creality End 3 printers. They are one of the most common and there is lots of support videos on YouTube to help figure it out. Currently on Amazon, they have the Ender 3 Pro for $239. 1k rolls of 1.75mm filament in PLA run about $8 to $30. For trike parts I use a filament called 3D Fuel PLA Pro. It creates extremely strong durable parts that hold up to uv light.
