    Tyler De Clifford can’t wait until Sunday.

    The 13-year-old James Hargest College student will be one of thousands of people taking part in the ICC Surf to City.

    It won’t be the first time he has taken part, but it is the first time he has done it on his own.

    Tyler has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The condition impacts his movement, his balance, and his strength. Sitting on and pedalling a conventional bike is out of the question for Tyler, but this year he will be hitting the road in an electric recumbent trike specially modified for his needs.
