I'm selling my RANS V-Rex recumbent which I have owned since 2005. I bought it from a young man in Portland who purchased it at Covington Bicycle. When I bought it, it was in perfect condition and the odometer showed 1000 miles. I bought it because I was was having numb hands on my regular bike. As it turned out I had carpal tunnel syndrome. It was a perfect solution. I only put 600 miles on it partly because I don't ride much and my carpal tunnel is no longer an issue. So in general the bike is still in wonderful condition. There is a learning curve to riding a recumbent, but that is a good thing for your brain, I guess. Actually, some folks can hop on and ride. I was a little wobbly at first.

Basic specs: Crank has a 52-42-30. The 52 on a downhill will blow your ears off. Not literally. The front cluster is 32-12. The steps when shifting are very smooth. The rear derailleur is a Technology SCRAM 9.0. Can't tell what the front derailleur is but I've never had any issues. Crank is a Shimano 105, and brakes (caliper type) are SRAM 9.0. The shifters are "Grip Shifters" which means you twist the handlebar grips to change gears. I didn't think I'd like this but I do. This bike has new tires and pedals. The pedals are Shimano clip ins. The back of each pedal is flat for street shoes.[...]
