    I too have a V Rex. I am assuming we are talking about the square seat rail. My solution is to take a big auto hose clamp and tighten it behind the clamp. That kept the seat from moving back over time. In worse case scenerio, clap to OVER the clamp. It won’t go anywhere then. Looks funky but works!

    Art Hagood once reminded me that if my seat was slipping backwards while pedaling, then I was mashing the pedals...instead of spinning them. :thumbsup: However, when taking off from a dead-start, up a hill there is going to me MASHING. :wink9:

    I haven't seen the failure mode, but my understanding is that it did not come loose and slip back along the main tube; it completely sheared off.

    Hey Dave, did Don find a seat for his VRex? I just bought one as my first bent and it needs recovering or replacement
