:biggrin9:Gee I must be a munk I don't drink, screw, or smoke I must be a munk. In a way I guess I'm blessed not to have that taste for hops and grape mixed with hops anymore. Sometime I sure could use a good wine cooler.

I have ordered and tried three flavors of the NUUN tablets

    Kola-taste Flat soda
    Banana-Barely a hint of nanna
Orange-you can barely taste the orange-ginger combo

I think the banana is my favorite. None of the flavors are overly strong or overly powerful which i like. Its also not very sweet so i doubt if thye use a whole lot of artificial sweeter. For me its a welcome change from plain old nasty water. I would loke to see a beer flavored tab but I don't think they will be coming out anytime soon.

:tongue9:It's only the conservatives that don't screw or drink. Me I'm a moderate. I believe in gun control somewhat. If you can hose down people you don't need it. If you use your gun to hunt and put food on the table for people you need it. If you are rich and make almost more money than God you need to be taxed more that the lowest man. If someone is disabled they shouldn't have to worry if their medicare is gone because they were born after 1957 that's just alot of bull. Gay people you should have stayed in the closet because even God says it's wrong. If you have a chronic or terminal desease then you should be insured. Sorry for the rant.Oh and if I find the right person then and only then will I screw that person. And not over like the congress did to the sick people of this country.

This is the reason I cannot stand religion. The Bible condones incest, raping women, slaves, genocide, killing kids and people are worried about man on man love..lol

That's alright, everything usually serves a purpose.:laugh9: In this case, it got me to re-look at how to OPEN this Poll back up. I had tried to extend it once, but got an error and was too busy to run the problem down. However, THIS time I figured it out so the POLL will remain open for others to put their :2cents: about such.

I guess the result of the poll so far is not so much how you drink on the bike but that you do though some fluids may work a little better than others in your drinking vessel of choice.

OK, or trike, boy being PC is really getting wordy, wouldn't want to offend anybody by leaving them out though .... yes I know, I have a trike too :wink9:.

Well, I use a Camelbak on the trike. I bungee it flat to the rack behind the seat and run the tube over my shoulder. Bought a clip that allows me to clip it to my shirt or my seat cushion so it is always where I need it. The bicycle has a couple of bottle holders but I haven't really ridden the bike far enough to worry about carrying water with me.

I usually just carry water in the camelbak but since 90% of my rides are in urban areas, I can always stop and pick up Gatorade or Powerade somewhere along my route.

I read sum'rs; Adventure Cycling, or road bike rider blah blah. Where a coach or sports nutritionist claimed that "dead" cokes, were as good if not better than anything else available for the cyclist. Don't know how realistic that is; but at the time i had access to all the dead cokes i could carry, so i liked it. I did find that it is the carbonation that made it hard for me to drink much of it during a long strenuous ride.
Anybody got any dead cokes you want to get rid of? :jiggy9:

For short rides I like to use water bottles so I can dispose of them. When I am touring I like the bladder so I don't have to stop very much. I like to alternate between water/sports drink and V8.
