Rohloff Twist Shifter: Re-Covering?

    Has anybody managed to replace the rubber part of their twist shifter?

    Mine is warn smooth and whatever it's made out of is getting slippery when wet from rain or sweat - to where the gears cannot be shifted without a dry cloth between hand and shifter.

    Or might just the twisty part be available for replacement?
