    Catrike announces 70% revenue increase in 2020 | Bicycle Retailer and Industry News Bicycle Retailer

    Orlando, FL — Recumbent trike manufacturer Catrike, a privately held company, is announcing that it saw a 70% increase in sales in its fiscal 2020.

    "Our ability to adapt our production for changes in market demand is a key factor in our continued growth," said Catrike general manager Mark Egeland. "Supply chain has been a Challenge over the past year, but balancing workflows and continued optimization of the production line has enabled us to keep our Orlando factory near full capacity."

    In 2020 Catrike launched a line of electric-assist trikes. The eCAT line uses a Bosch Active Line Plus electric-assist drive mated to a 1 x 11 drivetrain. The eCAT line consists of six models.

    Catrike's central office and manufacturing facility are located in Orlando. They are sold exclusively through IBDs with a network of over 200 dealers worldwide.
