Hal Honeyman, founder of Creative Mobility, Executive Director of Project Mobility: Cycles for life, has spent the last 10 years fitting children and adults with disabilities all over the country on adaptive bikes. Hal is considered one of the country's leading authorities on adaptive cycling. Through this experience Hal realized a need. This need was left unfulfilled by other bikes on the market.

Thus the Versa Trike was born. In conjunction with David Black of Rad Innovations, the Versa Trike evolved into a trike that would work for a wide range of abilities.
