The twig looks like a smaller version of the Titan. The Titan, liker the rover, it is designed to support a person up to 400lbs. I would guess that the twig holds between 200-300lbs.

The E-spike makes me think of a v-rex or something close to it. Interesting products to say the least.

Tom Flohr (the owner of Trident) has come to the SMRR (Smoky Mountain Recumbent Rally) for the last two years. He always brings a trailer of trikes with him for us to try.

Up until now, he only manufactured folding recumbent trikes. But this year he brought a prototype folding two wheel recumbent. I got to ride the bent and really liked it. I have been looking for a recumbent I could take traveling with me. This could be the bent for me.

I am excited to see Tom has decided to manufacture them. They handle very well (if the prototype is any indication to the final product.)

So I am excited!!! I will try one in earnest at next year's SMRR. If it is anything like the prototype, I will plan to order one then. :)

Jon, since you tried it out...how did it ride? Was it anything like your old V-Rex?

The TWIG was very much like my V Rex. I got on and took off. The boom was short for my long legs so I didn't ask Tom to lengthen the boom and add more chain for me. But I really liked it. It was very stable like Tom said.

What sets the TWIG apart from the rest of my bents is that it folds in half so you can take it with you. If this will fit in a regular bike case, I will be in heaven. I go out to California each year on business and I can see taking this on the plane with me then going back and riding the American River Trail again. (Click here for write up.) This time without pain of a DF bike!!! I am so excited!!!

Keila, since you are a Trident dealer, if you ever get one in stock let me know. I would really like to take it for a good test drive next year.
