Why he has a Web site: I want to share my bicycle with others in the recumbent community. He used to ride mountain bikes. After back surgery, he started riding recumbent bikes instead. After buying a couple, he decided to experiment with chopping up discarded mountain bikes and turning the parts into a recumbent bike. He calls his Frankie.
